The organization works across Iraq to promote the highest attainable standard of health for all Iraqis, regardless of race, religion, gender, political belief, economic or social status.

The organization's mission is to promote health, keep Iraqis safe, and serve the vulnerable. Access to adequate and affordable health care is a human right, and universal health care is a fundamental principle guiding the work of the Organization.
